Conference Facilitator
We are happy to announce that Lucas Cioffi has generously volunteered to serve as conference facilitator. As a West Point graduate and former Army Captain formerly serving in Sadr City, Iraq, Lucas has plenty of leadership experience. In addition to the military hierarchical model, however, he is committed to, and competent in, determining the conference's direction by drawing out attendees' ideas and guiding them towards consensus. Lucas is currently working on a web application (deepdebate.org) aimed at fostering constructive discussion of serious issues facing the world today.
